Tuna steaks are a healthy, delicious alternative to meat that you can prepare in numerous ways. Check out the following recipes for inspiration, adding everything you’ll need to create these meals to your grocery list.

Teriyaki Tuna
For each tuna steak you will need
  1. teriyaki sauce ⅛ cup
  2. red onion (thinly sliced) ¼
  3. orange marmalade ¼ cup
  4. olive oil ½ tbsp

Instructions
  1. Combine the teriyaki sauce, onion, and marmalade in a bowl.
  2. Over a medium heat, fry the tuna steak in olive oil. When one side is lightly cooked, flip the steak over.
  3. Pour the teriyaki mixture over the tuna while the other side cooks. Serve with rice or vegetables.

Grilled Tuna
For each tuna steak you will need
  1. mixed vegetables (bell pepper + onion + zucchini) 1 of each
  2. mustard 1 tbsp
  3. olive oil 1 tbsp
  4. Salt
  5. Pepper for seasoning

Instructions
  1. Slice the vegetables into large pieces — for example, bell peppers into triangles, onions in half, and zucchini into thick chunks.
  2. Place the vegetables on a hot grill, cooking each side for three to five minutes. Mix the cooked vegetables together in a bowl with the mustard and olive oil.
  3. Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper. Cook both sides on the grill for four minutes each. Serve the tuna with the vegetables on the side.

Tuna Salad Stack
For each tuna steak you will need
  1. mixed lettuce 1 cup
  2. sliced tomato 1
  3. sliced mango ½
  4. wasabi sauce ⅛ tsp
  5. olive oil 2 tbsp
  6. balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp

Instructions
  1. Place alternating layers of lettuce, tomato slices, and mango on top of the raw tuna steak.
  2. Combine the olive oil and wasabi sauce in a bowl.
  3. Pour over the salad followed by balsamic vinegar.

Pineapple Tuna
For each tuna steak you will need
  1. sliced red onion
  2. bell pepper (diced) ⅛ cup
  3. rice vinegar ⅛ cup
  4. lemon juice ½ tbsp
  5. olive oil ½ tbsp
  6. garlic (diced) ¼ clove
  7. tinned pineapple 1 slice
  8. cilantro (chopped) ½ tbsp

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine the onion, bell pepper, vinegar, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the olive oil to a skillet and fry the tuna steak and garlic. Cook the tuna on both sides, remove from the heat, and place on top of the sliced pineapple along with the garlic.
  3. Pour the vegetable mixture over the steak and top with cilantro.
